Mar 10 2010 - Free Teleclass for Writers: How to Use Twitter to Attract Clients

The International Association of Professional Ghost Writers will be holding the first of what will be an ongoing series of teleclasses on Wednesday, March 10, 2010.

Entitled "How to Use Twitter to Get Writing Clients," this free class will be given by the IAPGW's Executive Director, Mary Anne Hahn, who chose this topic to kick off the association's teleclass series because of her expertise in using this form of social media to network and build relationships. While the class will has been designed primarily with ghost writers in mind, other kinds of writers will benefit from the material as well.

Under the Twitter name @WriteSuccess, which is also the name of her Web site for writers, Hahn's following of over 6300 people includes other writers, business and life coaches, entrepreneurs, trainers, book publishers and agents. She utilizes the site to promote the ghost writers association, share information and news with writers, and connect on personal and professional levels with her followers. “Twitter has opened doors and allowed me to interact with people whose paths I probably never would have crossed otherwise," she maintains. “It is a tremendous and powerful networking tool that, once you understand how to use it, can play a major role in helping writers find new clients to work with."
