August 23 - Writing for Creativity and Inspiration - GA

Free-writing is a creative writing exercise done in groups for those who want to connect with and share their authentic voice. Practicing stream of consciousness writing in a supportive environment will connect you with your inner spark and energize your creativity.

During this two-hour workshop, we will practice two writing exercises that will unleash your natural self-expression. These exercises will banish the inner critic and get your creative energy flowing. You will be surprised how easy it is to write something amazing and to build trust in your true creative nature. Together, we will get your energy flowing in a powerful, entertaining, fun way as we share our prose with each other on the spot! If you feel blocked, uninspired, or aren't creating as much as you'd like, this will re-ignite the spark. Everyone can use writing as a cathartic way to express themselves. Expression is an essential component of a healthy life.

Participants only need to bring a pad of paper or notebook and some pens or pencils.
The facilitator reserves the right to limit the workshop to a maximum of 15 people. (Otherwise, it takes too long for everyone to read.)
